The selected candidate must have hands-on capability to post, maintain and coordinate information using Content Management Systems (CMS) such as BlackBoard, WebCT or Drupal used for website development and web based training and education. Experience using on-line meeting software such as WebEx is required, and a working knowledge of web development software such as Dreamweaver is essential.   Preference will be given to candidates capable of using graphics software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom or Paintshop Pro.  The position requires the daily use of the standard Microsoft Office Suite products such as Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

SALARY: $126,176 - $184,526/year includes 20.94% COLA
Grade Range:  JSP 15, 16, 17
The Chief Probation Officer administers and manages all Federal presentence investigations and supervision release services within the District of Hawaii.  Minimum Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree [graduate degree preferred]; 7 years of  specialized experience in presentence investigation, supervision, counseling and guidance of offenders in community corrections or pretrial programs required after completion of degree; substantial management experience preferred.  Requires strong academic background, excellent analytical/communication skills, and writing ability.  Starting salary depends on experience.  EEO.
